Pastor Scott and Emily Hawkins
About Our Associate Pastor
Pastor Scott wasn't born a pastor or even an Alabamian! He was born in Long Beach, California and grew up in Torrance, Ca, which is just outside of Los Angeles. He was raised in the Lutheran church and then attended Concordia University in Irvine, California, where he studied Theology with a minor in Biblical Languages. He then drove around the country with his best friend serving churches and ministries across the country. When he arrived back in Southern California he found two incredible surprises awaiting him; Emily and Fuller Seminary. He attend Fuller Seminary while he worked as the Christian Education Director for First Presbyterian Church of Orange. He then graduated Seminary, got married to Emily and moved to Alabama to serve this incredible congregation. He loves Alabama and discovering his new church home. He enjoys spending time with his wife, anything on water and talking about theology.
